Description

Leon is a professional freelance actor, improvisor and voice artist.  He studied acting at The Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in New York. Leon's New York theatre credits include “Blues for Mr Charlie”, “Julius Caesar” and “The Mischievous Machinations of Scapin”.  Since returning from New York Leon's local theatre credits include “The Graduate”, “Three Sisters”, “The Tent”,  “Line” and “I am Hamlet” which won the 2013 Fleur du Cap People's Choice award.  Leon has acted in many local and international films, TV shows and commercials including the Golden Globe nominated "The Girl", "Jack of Hearts" which won best ensemble cast award for the Cape Town 48 Hour Festival 2013,“Interrogation Room”, "Isidingo”,  “America: The Story of Us”,  “The Philanthropist”,  “Beaver Falls”, “Black Sails”, and “The Lion of Judah". Leon will also be seen in the Netflix feature film "Jadotville"  which will be released in early 2016
